I’m generally excited to share that Miicor Consulting, Inc. has officially launched its new and improved website — miicor.com.
The updated site reflects Miicor’s mission to deliver innovative solutions in business consulting, project management, and technology integration. Built with a clean, modern design, it’s now easier than ever to navigate and find the information you need.

How it Changed
The old website was developed in WordPress several years ago, and was never really kept up-to-date. The custom theme used was far too restrictive, and because of that the website did not keep up with the newer versions of WordPress and PHP.
I replaced the theme with the Socrates theme from Dan Nickerson. Unfortunately, Dan is no longer selling Socrates, but still supports it. It’s too bad because it has been my go-to theme for many years now.
The Socrates theme was incredibly easy to set up, included many clever short-codes, and had a handy plugin that extended the theme’s capabilities. It was a good fit for just about anything I’ve worked on.
Unfortunately, I’ll have to come up with a replacement eventually.
