Web design 1 is easy, but I recommend using word press. Word Press is one of the most popular blogging tools available. But what many people don’t know is that it is a powerful Content Management System that can be used for more than just blogging. With Word Press you can build a blog, a website, or both. This is the first article in a series where we’ll explore why Word Press is a good choice for small business websites, and how to install, configure and use it for your small business.

Fast forward to today, and now we have Word Press – an amazingly powerful content management system that is FREE. And it has a lot of power under the hood for a small or medium business looking for an easy way to manage their web site.

Word Press was designed as a platform for blogging, but you don’t have to use it as a blogging tool. With a few tweaks it can be used to run your website, with or without a blog. The fact that Word Press was designed as a blogging platform gives it some compelling advantages.

It is optimized for easily publishing and changing content. And getting good search engine rankings requires fresh, unique content. You need a system that does not get in your way when you want to update your website with a new article or newsletter.

Designing Your Own Website
>how do i get web space to rite a html web page?

You can make HTML pages on your computer and access them from your computer using your browser (you don’t even have to be connected to the Internet), but no one else would be able to see it. To get a page where other people can see it, there are various websites that host pages for free (and even more that host for a price). Yahoo has their own free page hosting service called GeoCities, which you can find here:
http://geocities.yahoo.com/
Another good site is freewebs.com:

>and then how do i rite a html web page in notepad?

HTML is very complicated, and with various other addon languages such as CSS and Javascript it gets far more complicated still. However, I know some amount of HTML, so I can give you the basics.

Open Notepad. You will be presented with a new document. Go to File/Save as, switch the file type from ‘text file’ to ‘all files’ and for the name, enter the desired name of your file followed by ‘.html’ (without the quotes, and that must be the last thing in the name, do NOT leave the default ‘.txt’ in place). You can save it any place you would save any other files, such as in My Documents or some personal folder or whatever. Now, whenever you press Control+S, it will save under HTML format.

Okay, now what to put in the file. On the most basic level, HTML has three sections: The HTML section, the head section, and the body section. The HTML section contains absolutely everything you’re going to put in your file. The head section contains various page information such as the title, any keywords you might want, various scripts and CSS styles, etc. The body section contains most of what is actually going to appear on the page, and is usually by far the largest section. Each of these sections is delimited by HTML tags, which are little strings of text surrounded by < and > (some tags also have opening tags, which are just like that, and also closing tags, which are surrounded by ; closing tags are the ‘end’ of that particular tag, for tags that can contain things that aren’t tag properties). So your file will start by looking like this:

This will not display anything when you open it using your browser, but it is a necessary hierarchy you will use on all simple web pages. You can how add other things to the page, for example let’s say you want the page to say ‘asdf’. In the ‘body’ section (that is to say between the tag and the tag), put ‘asdf’. If you save and then open the file with your browser (or refresh if you’re already on the file), you will see ‘asdf’ in black on a white background and in whatever your default font is (you haven’t yet specified a font, remember).

Now, at that point when you open your file the title on the top of your browser window will say the name of the file complete with the extension. However, this doesn’t have to be the case. A title can be made to replace this file name. Titles are delimited by (surprise!) and tags, which MUST be placed in the head section. Let’s say you want the title to read ‘my site’ and the page to read ‘asdf’. You would do that like this:

my site

asdf

Tags can also have properties. For example, if you wanted your ‘asdf’ to appear in Comic Sans MS (the default font is probably Arial or Times New Roman) and in blue, you can put tags around it, like this:

asdf

Put that in the body section and you will be able to see ‘asdf’ in Comic Sans MS and colored blue. Note that each tag property uses the form ‘property=value’, in which the value is often (but not always) in quote marks, and all properties are spaced out by spaces. So if you had an image called ‘tree.jpg’ that you wanted on your page, here are the WRONG ways to use tag properties:

Here is the RIGHT way:

So, that’s a quick runover of the basic syntax and terminology. If you want to learn more about hand coding, you can go here:

Designing Your Own Website
A Web Browser has Four major parts

1. A Request manager that can handle Get, Response, Request, etc
2. An HTML parser that includes a document interface, script interface, DTD compliance parser and DOM manager.
3. User Interface including the menus, address bar, and motion gestures (back, forward, home)
4. The Cache or memory manager

Additional parts that all modern Browsers possess
5. Download manager (this helps converts http based requests into separate streams for IO)
6. Browser level error processing
7. Handicap/International facilities

If you’re looking for a requirements doc add these to the parser:
-Text parser should be able to accept DTD’s for validation and interpretation and should cache common DTD’s for speed of processing.
-Document module should be forgiving of the most common errors in html
-CSS support

5 Tips for Writing the Perfect Blog Post
If you use WordPress, or Blogger, or any other modern blogging tool for that matter, the search engines are “pinged” and know right away that you have made a post. So, don’t worry about submitting it to search engines manually (and for heaven’s sake, don’t pay someone who claims to do that)!

In general, the best method nowadays is to generate some social traffic. Post a link to you post to Facebook, Twitter, pin your post’s featured image to Pinterest.

Catchy Headlines
Business Models are simulations of actual business functioning.
They act as ideal real life examples, and help participants actively discuss the pros and cons of the situation given.

A business Model gives a Full Account of any particular Business Scenario. Readers of this model/ Participants are then asked to discuss the strengths and weaknessess of it. Put it simply, one has to SWOT analyze the Business Model based on different parameters.

Each participant comes up with his/her own views on the subject. Cumulative views and different view points are then listed and ranked based on their importance and relevance.

Thus at the end of the session, a business models suitability and viability is drafted and conclusions are drawn thereon.

The more the Business Model Analysis a person does, the more exposed he gets to real life corporate situations.
Hence it is said, that Business Models act as Good Simulators.

Search Engine Optimization
A search engine is a service provided by some company (Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, etc.) which will search through millions of web pages for keywords that a person types into a field. For instance, if I type “Puppy” into a search box on Google’s web site, there are currently 40,800,000 matches available. If the search provider has a good search algorithm in their software, then the most relevant pages should be listed first. In my case, I’m a happy searcher, because after the Google Image samples, the first result listed is the Puppy Linux website, which is the only Puppy I would ever be searching for online. Most search providers keep track of what websites people will actually visit after doing a search. They then use the results to make sure those pages are closer to the top of the list for the next time someone searches for the same keyword(s).

Image search optimization is about using images on your website to draw more “click-throughs” from the search provider, thereby raising your rank in the search list. This, in turn, helps to ensure that you keep getting more visits to your site. A neat article I just found by typing “image search optimization” into Google Search is linked below.
