by Deja Tweet

Social media is sweeping the internet as the next big and important think when it comes to reaching out to customers and potential customers and improving brand image. Many new social medial sites pop up all the time but they dont always make it in the mainstream. Some of the most profound sites for social media marketing that simply cannot be overlooked include Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Plus and Slideshare.

Facebook

The days of using Facebook simply to connect with family and friends have changed. Today, Facebook is used by businesses to create strong brand image, to shed light on new products or services, to promote a brand and to become more involved with potential customers and clients as well as with existing customers. Facebook is one social media marketing site that many businesses are now using on a daily basis to help improve the online presence and brand image while learning about customer needs along the way.

Twitter

Social Media

Who would have thought that something so simplesaying what you want to say in 140 characters or lesswould take off so far? With millions of users and hundreds of millions of tweets being sent out each day, Twitter is a must be place for social media marketing. Many companies choose to use more than one Twitter profile so that they are able to interact with customers, potential customers, other members of the company and other areas of the social world on different levels.

Pinterest

A picture says a thousand words right? So why not post hundreds of pictures for the world to see? This social media marketing site is especially great for companies that are selling products that are best visualized as well as for those in the travel, food and restaurant or entertainment industry. Pinterest allows you to post images of whats happening in your business, what you like, what youre doing or pretty much anything you wantfor the world to see!

Google Plus

Social media marketing probably wouldnt be complete if Goolge didnt at least have some say in what goes on! Google Plus is a relatively new social media site but its quickly sweeping the net. Lets face it, Google likes to rank sites that are in their network and Goolge Plus is just that! Google Plus is very similar to Facebook and some of the other social media sites allowing users to create Circles and groups of friends, colleagues, or followers who share in similar interests.

SlideShare

Social media marketing isnt only about sharing your latest event or photofor businesses, Slideshare provides a way to showcase to the world what they are talking about. Slideshare is a platform that allows users to post their presentation slides for others to see and to share. Marketers and business owners who are passionate about a particular subject can create a presentation on the subject, post the slides to Slideshare and portray their message to all who want to see. Slideshare is fun for mixing interactive messages, photos, slides and presentations into the social media marketing mix.

I would give this guy a hug. Not that I have any idea where he lives.
Ah, well. I’m going to go for a walk. I’ll see if anyone responds when I
    say “hi” to them.

Powerful video about the problems of living in today’s world with short
attention spans and too much social media and technology.

Yeah, screw this wonderful technology that has let me form a wonderful,
loving relationship with a girl on the other side of the country, who I
otherwise would have never been able to meet, dying alone would have been a
much better life. Screw sharing ideas with people all around the world,
learning new things that we otherwise would have never gotten to know,
opening our eyes to events that otherwise would have passed by unnoticed.
Screw the technology that allows you to even spread any message at all,
letting people across the country and around the world hear your voice and
be moved by your words. No, darkness and silence are obviously more
preferred, living an ancient world with a closed mind and closed eyes.

Have fun in the dark ages, I’m going to the future.

Those who go against this video are slaves to technology. Their whole lives
are devoted to earning pixels and worthless bits of code. Some may say that
they’re just connecting to the outside world, but the outside world doesn’t
exist in your computer or in your cellphone, it exists OUTSIDE. Some
scientists suggested that thanks to technology, man’s evolution would lead
him to depend on artificial and inorganic material.

Some people take selfies because they’re too stupid to remember what
happened 5 minutes ago, hence the constant taking of pictures. They have
    very limited memory.
Some people prefer having online friends instead of meeting new friends due
to their fear of human contact. They are scared of the outside world.
Some people stay all day playing online games because they have no sense of
fun in their lives, no imagination. They don’t have enough imagination to
play without the need of electronic devices.
Some people go out begging for followers, likes and subscribers because
they have no self-esteem. They feel worthless, so they develop a
non-existent need to reassure they aren’t what they are.

And even now mankind is a weak and pathetic creature. Back in it’s rise to
power, man would wage war with swords, guns, ideas and defiance. Now man
uses hashtags instead of swords, or likes instead of words.

I won’t deny it, I love videogames, but I won’t give my life into them.
You’re probably butthurt because the truth is too hard to accept. It’s hard
to accept your generation depends on lines of code and pixelated images for
substance, but the truth is the truth.
