Do You Need To Improve Your Search Engine Optimization Strategies?

If you have not been getting good results from your search engine optimization campaign, it is time to improve it. Keep reading to learn more about the efficient strategies you can implement to improve your campaign.

Are your keywords efficient? If your goal is to sell products, you can target customers who are ready to purchase an item by using keywords related to online shopping. You could for instance optimize your product pages with secondary keywords related to discounts or low prices. Optimize your other pages with keywords potential customers who need more information about a product would look up. You should check Google AdWords for new keywords regularly and update the ones you use if you need to.

Proper Content

Instead of using your keywords in the body of your articles, place them in different HTML tags. Your keywords will be a lot more efficient if they are used to describe your content. Try thinking of catchy titles that include some strong keywords for all your pages and articles. You should also optimize your links by using keywords in the anchor text. If possible, place your strong keywords toward the beginning of your titles or anchor texts. Overall, the keyword density of a page should not exceed 5%. >

Do not forget to optimize the elements search engine spiders cannot analyze. You can optimize all your pictures by using alt tags to describe them. If you have videos, use a title filled with keywords and write a description of the video. If you have Flash or Java Script elements, optimize them with keywords too. Avoid using Java Script for your menu since search engine spiders will not be able to follow your links.

Make sure your site is properly organized. Use an XML sitemap to get an idea of how your pages are connected. You should have as many links as possible between all your pages. Organize your most important links in a menu or use other types of site-wide links, such as a banner or a small ad to draw attention to your current discounts or latest products. You should update the organization of your site as you add more content to it.

Quality Images

Back-links are the best way to get more traffic for your website. You should always look for ways to create new quality back-links and not expect a back-link to keep bringing traffic to your website for more than a few months. You can re-dynamize your old back-links by creating links to the pages where they are featured. Try getting some back-links on popular websites by contacting their webmasters to ask if they would like to exchange links. Do not hesitate to spend money on ad space if you are sure these links will be noticed.

Apply these different methods to improve your search engine optimization campaign and get more traffic for your website. You should do more research on search engine optimization to learn about the other techniques you can use and make sure your methods are up to date.

I suggest you to try some Dofollow blog commenting to get good Backlinks. I found a good dofollow blog commenting service. Not many but just 30 links you can buy from them. But all will be good quality backlinks to your site. I think the price is not too high.

How Do I Learn SEO (search Engine Optimization) Copywriting? I’m a mostly-traditional advertising copywriter hoping to expand my digital horizons and am looking to learn SEO (search engine optimization) copywriting. I live in NYC, and I’d rather take an actual class at a location than an online course. Anyone have any good suggestions? Thanks.

      I was in your position just a few months ago and am in the process of starting my own SEO company. I have actually learned a lot just by searching around the internet, you will notice that several names begin to pop up more often than not. Whether you find a good class to attend or an online course you should routinely check out;
and I also find good info on < ---- Has a course coming up. Brian Horn is also a good person follow for SEO info. You can find out about the course by going to their page, here is a link as well:

That should be a good course on total SEO/SEM. I am considering going.

But, if you are just looking to learn about the copywriting aspect you will probably find a huge variance on what is the best way to go and I believe that first and foremost you should just write for your target market. After all, if no one likes your site and hates your copy, then a first page ranking really doesn’t matter.

The key really is to pay attention to the keywords you are optimizing for and write about that topic or subject and be sure to include the keyword a couple of times in the actual text.

I hope this answers your question or is at least something you can use. Let us know what class you find and if it turns out to be a good one.

How Does A Search Engine Work?

Search engines are relatively generic, their main function is to find information. There are huge copies of websites and documents that have been saved in each search engine which is stored in an index. Specific websites and documents are retrieved based on its relevancy to a certain search string. These saved pages are what you see for results when you type something into the search engines.

Search engines use software “robots” (also known as spiders or crawlers) to crawl the internet looking at pages and save them in a huge index. It then uses a ranking algorithm to rank pages based on what that webpage is about. The more relevant a website is to a search term, the higher it will appear in the results.

What Exactly Is Search Engine Optimisation And What Is The Job Of SEO?

    View Comment
    1. Reply

Search Engine Optimisation or SEO is getting the website into the Free/Organic listings of search engines.SEO has been there since the beginning of the Internet. The primary advantage of SEO is that it can be done entirely free, without any cash outlay.

The Job of an SEO is to make the website reach the listings and achive a good page rank through many factors like link popularity, page rank, improving content(i,e) making rich content wrt to search engines.

SEO specialists would have to "guess" and adapt to ever-changing strategies and tactics to either maintain their positions or improve their rank. One month could mean you're out of the top ten with no warning.

SEO is slower in terms of ranking your site on a lot of chosen keywords. You would have to make numerous link requests, multiple pages, press release, etc. Also, it takes a lot more time for search engines to index new sites' domain names (it can take months).

Help With Search Engines? 1. What are “web spiders,” and what do they do?

    2. What are meta tags, and how do search engines use them?

    3. What are Boolean operators?

    4. Name a search engine that uses Natural Language Queries.

    5. What are meta (or multiple) search engines? Name two meta search engines. What are the advantages and disadvantages of meta search engines?

    6. What are sponsor matches (Yahoo)?

    Please help

      1. Before a search engine can tell you where a file or document is, it must be found. To find information on the hundreds of millions of Web pages that exist, a search engine employs special software robots, called spiders, to build lists of the words found on Web sites. When a spider is building its lists, the process is called Web crawling

      2. Meta tag in html is not a required tag when you’re creating your web pages; many pages don’t use the tag at all. . To put it briefly, the meta tag is used by search engines to allow them to more accurately list your site in their indexes. If you simply produce your home page and register the URL with a search engine, or a number of search engines, their spider programes will (eventually) toddle along to your site to index it. Now, each of the search engines does this slightly differently.

      3. The main boolean operators are AND, OR, NOT, and XOR (exclusive or) In programming, you often use symbols to represent these instead of writing out the words. OR is ||, not is !, and AND is &&. Example: If you put in “Bob” AND “Smith” you would get results that have both Bob and Smith in them (say 150 results). If you put in “Bob” OR “Smith” you would get any result with Bob or Smith (say 3000 results). If you put in “Bob” NOT “Smith” you would get Bob Jones, but not Bob Smith. Not all search engines use these. And some use other terms for them.

      4. This one is difficult as I am not familiar with it, and not too many results came up when I searched. But, it looks as though this one is:

      5. Metasearch engines enable users to enter search criteria once and access several search engines simultaneously. (i.e One search, results from everyone like Yahoo, Google, Bing, etc) and The advantage is that you are getting an archive (in a sense) of ALL search engines and not relying on the results of just one.

      6. Unfamiliar with Sponsor matches…looks very similar to like Google ad words. But, they are paid listings that appear on Yahoo! Search results pages, within selected Directory categories, and on thousands of webpages throughout the Yahoo! network. Sponsor Results only appear when they’re relevant to the search terms you used. For example, if you search for digital cameras, you'll see advertisements for websites that provide information about or sell digital cameras.

      I hope this helps!

How Often Do Search Engines Revisit Web Sites With Spiders And Adjust Key Words? I’ve changed the text on my welcome page in order to increase the chance of someone locating it using common key words but the search engines haven’t noticed the changes. Do they send out spiders on a regular basis?

The frequency and depth of crawl by the SE bots is a function of how important they consider the page (website) to be. For example a site that ranks in the top ten for very popular search terms might be visited at least every day but a site that ranks only for very uncompetitive terms might be visited only once a month. Normally the higher the PageRank value of the page the more frequent the visits.

Pandak is completely wrong about the Revisit META tag. There is such a tag but Search Engines take absolutely no notice of it whatsoever as anyone who has a website and looks in their server logs can tell you.

The closest you can get to controlling the behaviour of a search engine bot is with the Googlebot and Google SiteMaps
