Engine Optimization Techniques

Engine Optimization Techniques

If you love to go hiking in your spare time, wouldn’t it be nice if you could be paid by the mile? If you instead like to craft, you could take what you make and sell it at craft shows. The fact is that you can be paid for your love of blogging, you just need to know how. The tips below will guide you through how you can monetize your blog and turn it into a cash cow.

Banner Ads

It is hugely important that you feel passion about the topic of your blog. If you don’t, the time is now to close your blog and start fresh. Think about what you really know about or what you really want to learn about. While providing expert content is key, many people would love to follow along as you deeply research something you are passionate about. As long as you have a love for what you are writing on, it will shine through in your posts. When people see that, they will come back as reading your content will be fun and informative.

BloggeBloggingr

While “mom blogs” are all the rage, it is the blogs which specialize in a certain niche, be it cloth diapering or giveaways, which are the most successful. Choose a specific focus for your blog so that it will be easier for you to decide on what content to post, and people who visit will know what to expect. For example, if you want to write about environmentally friendly topics, pick something specific, such as “green parenting” or “green pet care”. If you are interested in more than one topic, you can even open more than one blog. While it takes more work, you’ll also be able to double your monetization opportunities.

Business Purposes

To monetize your blog, you will have to host it on your own web hosting account. WordPress.com doesn’t allow ads on its blogs, although Blogger does permit AdSense ads. That said, to promote your site, you really need your own domain name. It lends to your credibility and also allows you to use effective search engine optimization techniques to boost your readership. It’s best to have your own web hosting account as you will get better customer service than Blogger or other free platforms provide.

Engine

Now you need to explore your options when it comes to making money. One way to get paid to post is literally to get paid to post. A company will give you product or cash in exchange for a review and/or giveaway of what they sell or do. You can also use banner ads from sites like AdSense to boost your revenue. Lastly, affiliate marketing, such as with Amazon or NewEgg, allows you to make money when people buy items through your site.

Engine Optimization Techniques

Moo! That is the sound of your cash cow begging you to monetize it. While it sits there right now, it isn’t making you a penny. Take the time to tweak your site and soon enough you’ll be raking in the dough. There is no reason not to make money on your blog, so go out and get it done!

Can A Google Site Make It To The Google Search Engine? Basically, if I had a Google site about cheese, and I typed in cheese on the Google search engine would it show up? It would obviously be near the bottom, but would it be there? Also, how do you get it onto the Google search engine in the first place? So, CAN a Google site make it to the search engine, and HOW to get the site there?

Sounds like you have a basic question about SEO. Search Engine Optimization is a technique to get your site ranked. Here’s a few pointers

      1. you can’t have a “Google Site” only the Company of Google can
      2. Page Ranking in search results depend on:
      – how old is your domain.
      – is the keyword in your url?
      – is your site completely flash based? (flashed based sites dont get ranked)
      – do you add new content to your site daily?
      – is your site developed with good html standards to include metadata?

Getting your site to come up on the first page of google takes time and continued work at SEO
look me up if you need help

      — hope this helps

Getting traffic is a combination of a lot of things. The key to success is to create great content that visitors want to use, search engines will love and other websites will naturally link to. Of course, it’s easier said than done.

You can use pay per click advertising in the search engines to reach audiences looking for your products. You can use Google Adwords http://www.google.com/adwords or Yahoo http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com

Here are some shoestring marketing ideas that can help you get the visitors you need at the least cost possible:

      1. Create the best content you can with the best products you can possibly offer. Your content is your best advertisement – if visitors love your content, then they will go back and spread the word to others.

      2. Make it easy for users to recommend your site. Viral marketing is very important — and easy to tap on the Web. But give your users the tools. Get a Recommend this Site script from websites such as cgiscripts.com and similar directories of scripts. Some even go as far as giving incentives to those who recommend the site to their friends. If only 10 people go to your site, but these 10 people invite 10 more – that’s additional traffic that you get for FREE!

      Recommend Site Scripts (various) http://php.resourceindex.com/Complete_Scripts/Website_Promotion/Recommend_Site/
Big Nose Bird Recommend this Site http://bignosebird.com/carchive/birdcast.shtml
      CGI Resource Index http://cgi.resourceindex.com/Programs_and_Scripts/Perl/Website_Promotion/Recommend_Site/
      Hostscripts http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/Site_Recommendation/index.html

      3. Rank well in the search engines (organic search results, not the pay per click). SEs can be a big source of traffic. The key is to create the best content in your niche. If you have good content, other websites will gladly link to you and offer your site as a resource to their audience. Check the on-page factors and be sure to get linked from authority sites in your topic area.

If you are going to read only one piece on search engine optimization, I suggest you read Brett Tabke of WebmasterWorld.com’s “Successful Site in 12 Months with Google Alone: 26 steps to 15k a day.” http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum3/2010.htm

      4. Send out press releases. While outfits charge as much as $650 per release, there are free press release submission places on the Web. Press releases allow you to (a) attract media attention; (b) get more back links to your website without sending each website an email request; and (c) get more visibility especially if your press release gets in Google News or Yahoo News.

      http://www.free-press-release.com/

      5. Submit articles. Write articles and submit them to websites accepting author submissions. You get exposure for your business; establishes you as an authority in your field, and allows you to get backlinks for your website. If 50 websites publish your article and it contains a link back to your website, then you easily get 50 links from a single article. The more links you have, the greater your chances for increasing your search engine rankings.

      Godek Raw,

      B, D are correct.

NOTE: A is not correct because bold tag (using either or ) may help search engine when analyzing content, but to a lesser extent than other more prominent semantic markup codes like headings (

      ,

      , etc.) or lists (

        ,

). Semantic markup codes are not born equal, so they don’t give words to which they apply the same importance, but they definitely will help Google and other search engines better understand crawled content to qualify it for specific search queries.

Matt Cutts--the famous Google’s evangelist--enlightened us on this topic in one of his videos (see the link in the Source section at the bottom), as follows:

(question starts at 0:46 till 1:53 in the video)

“Aaah! I get to clarify something about vs. , and vs. . So there was a previous question where somebody asked whether it was better to use or . (…) A Google engineer actually took me to the code where I can see by myself that Google does treat and with exactly the same weight, he also found the code that showed me that and are treated exactly the same as well. So there you have it. Go forth and mark up like the W3C would like you to do it, do it semanticly well and don’t worry so much about the old tags because Google will score them just the same either way.”

So by clarifying the question about vs. and vs. , Matt Cutts reveals that there are some lines of code in Google’s engine that talks specifically about ,, and ,

Doing SEO with software is not good. Vitalizing SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the key factor in getting optimized high ranking in search engines. In order to get high ranking in such areas as google, yahoo, or msn you must utilize SEO effectively. You can do this by submitting high content articles to many article submitting sites like EZINE and GOARTICLES, and creating back links to your website. In order to use Search Engine Optimization effectively you must hone in on the techniques of spreading tons of content to many different websites while keeping that target niche in mind. After on-page optimization, you can go build your back links to your site. With backlinks, search engines will directly index your websites after finding the links. No need to submit your website to the search engines themselves. Your backlinks will do the work for you.

Search Engine optimization (SEO) is the new buzzword of the internet age. There are several people (and their brothers) that will promise you the moon – guaranteeing you high placements in search engine results. But take this with a grain of salt.

      – As long as you have unique content, it will only be a matter of time before the search engines find you and you get listed in the search results.
The key here is “unique” – If you are a law firm highlight your skills – make sure the unique words that qualify you appear on your website.

For Instance if you are a lawfirm specializing in doing elderlaw in Queens Newyork – make sure the keywords : elderlaw, Queens and NewYork appear on your content page(s). This way you are creating a niche – as opposed to “Queens law firm” which will yield several more results.

      – And above all be patient!!! Search Engine positioning happens over time. If you try overly aggressive techniques to short circuit the time factor, you could get penalized by the search engines and get completely de-listed.

What Is SEO (Search Engine Optimization? I need to ask you something about SEO (Search engine optimization) . What is SEO ? . And how it really helps us to increase traffic on our website. Will it be useful to invest on some of the seo techniques for my blog ?

    View Comment
    1. Reply

Sure. It will not only be useful, but it is a necessary technique if you want to promote your blog or site for Google Ad-sense and similar programs.

SEO is, as the name suggests, optimization of your site/blog for higher search engine rating. Search engines like Google rate your sites according to the quality of the content in it. If your site provides good quality content, more users will be able to see your site when they search for related content. More users will make more ad-sense.

Search engine optimization is done by many techniques. The best is to provide quality content and non plagiarized content. Common, but important things to keep in mind are grammar, language and spelling mistakes. Originality of your content is the most important factor. If the content on your site is copied/plagiarized, then there is no way you could get in Google search results. Keep in mind, that images copied from other sources will also produce negative results.

So Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a way of making your site/blog display in the top search results when users search for related content.

The most important factor to keep in mind during SEO optimization is that your site should have keywords related to the topic. The term used commonly here is “keyword density”. This is the amount of keywords per page that match the terms searched for, by users. However, you do not have to cram up the site with keywords. Use them appropriately and when required. This makes your site presentable to users.

Another important factor for Search Engine Optimization is placement of ads in proper places. If you cram up your site with ads expecting more clicks, this actually lessens the number of clicks you get, as users find it difficult to view your site/blog. Appropriate adds should be placed at appropriate places in your site.

For example, you have written an article on health care. The ads displayed should be about health care. This is a good technique for SEO optimization. Google has, however, automated this process: when you add Google ads to you site/blog, the ads displayed are automatically related to the content on that particular page. However, if you choose programs like Amazon, the best practice is to manually choose the ads to be displayed according to what you have written.

Hope this helps you make your blog successful. Please revert for any clarifications. .

Any Help On Search Engine Optimization? Me and a bunch of friends are registering an I.T company but we’re all inexperienced but relatively skilled. My job is to be the “online presence”. Running the blog, advertising on sites and search engine optimization. Since i know nothing about these topics, i’m turning to the internet for help. A comprehensive tutorial on search engine optimization, some help on web advertising especially on social network sites and a link to a similar establishment’s blog that i can use as a model would be much appreciated.

This is a rather deep question, but the first thing is content. Content is the thing that search engines love. The more specific you get with your content, the better. The more helpful your content for those that want your services, the better because it will be more likely to be shared on social sites and referenced on other web sites.

You need to do research about your target market to figure out the best things to write about, especially if you have a brand new site. In the “source” section below, I have referenced an article I wrote about choosing an effective domain name. I have also listed a couple web sites where the authors of the sites do an excellent job of being found by search engines, all do to their content. Notice that the articles they write revolve around specific topics and are helpful in nature, not just begging for a sale.

I have also listed as a reference for you search engine watch, which has been around for decades and has excellent advice on search engine techniques.

Why Arabic Search Engine Optimization SEO Is Different? Arabic language includes alot of dialects and markets, how to select a good Arabic SEO provider for my website?

    View Comment
    1. Reply

Arabic search engine algorithms and position techniques are quite different from their English counterparts. It is critical for web developers and localization engineers on your project to have a full grasp of all issues specific to the Arabic language in order to obtain optimum Arabic search results. Appropriate experience with these project requirements can “make or break” your success with Arabic speaking consumers.

I believe the Arabic language poses a unique challenge when it comes to content and keywords because the entire Arabic-speaking region contains very special traditions and regional differences. This challenge requires a partner with strong experience in the specific region you are targeting. Only a localization partner with solid experience in specific, regional Arabic translation and localization can ensure that your Arabic content is optimized and provide you with the right set of Arabic keywords to ensure that your target Arabic customers will find you.

Power Play Marketing has done extensive work with Arabic localization, including massive, scalable websites in Dubai. Other projects have extended into Arabic SEO and PPC keywords for Ramadan promotions for major resorts in the Arab Gulf region. You can contact them via http://powerplaymarketing.com/

What Is Search Engine Optimisation? What is search engine optimisation?

    View Comment
    1. Reply

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via “natural” (“organic” or “algorithmic”) search results. Usually, the earlier a site is presented in the search results, or the higher it “ranks”, the more searchers will visit that site. SEO can also target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.

As a marketing strategy for increasing a site’s relevance, SEO considers how search algorithms work and what people search for. SEO efforts may involve a site’s coding, presentation, and structure, as well as fixing problems that could prevent search engine indexing programs from fully spidering a site. Other, more noticeable efforts may include adding unique content to a site, ensuring that content is easily indexed by search engine robots, and making the site more appealing to users. Another class of techniques, known as “Black Hat” SEO or spamdexing, use methods such as link farms and keyword stuffing that tend to harm search engine user experience. Search engines look for sites that employ these techniques and may remove their listings.

A search engine optimization expert basically helps clients understands how search engines work and get their websites to the top of the search engines. Basically you need to be able to:

      – Keep track of what’s happening with the search engines, including movements in datacenters or changing algorithms or new methodology (often from new patents granted) to rank web sites
      – Know how each of the search engine works and what the different ones, especially the big three (Google, Yahoo and MSN) require for a site to get good rankings
      – Understand the factors that can propel a site to the top of the search engines without resorting to black hat techniques (eg. doorway pages, excessive keywords, etc) that can result to the banning of the site
      – Know the process how to make a site banned by a search engine and delisted in their index to return to the SEs database
      – Know the latest tools available to help optimize a site from creating a Google sitemap to determining the right keywords of the site
      – Understand both organic and paid search engine rankings, and know how to do both
      – Manage and handle pay per click campaigns of the clients in the search engines, from determining the keywords, tracking conversions to keeping track of the costs

Research skills can be useful in terms of finding out ways how search engines work. But there are many forums and blogs where other webmasters and employees of these search engines gather that you simply go to these places to learn (e.g. SearchEngineWatch.com, WebmasterWorld, Matt Cutts blog, etc) that you don’t need any research skills at all.

Understanding and knowledge of programming is essential — e.g. managing .htaccess files, how to do 403 redirects, how to ensure dynamic URLs are accessible to the search engines. Many also help their clients plan and create content and analyze the usability of their websites to ensure better search engine access.

If you are interested in this field, I suggest you start going and reading up various forums at WebmasterWorld.com http://www.webmasterworld.com to understand the mechanics and dynamics of search engines. SEs constantly evolve so SEO experts need to be able to dissect and analyze the new changes in ranking websites and how their clients can benefit from these changes.

Why Arabic Search Engine Optimization SEO Is Different? Arabic language includes alot of dialects and markets, how to select a good Arabic SEO provider for my website?
