It is important that you know what is going on in the world of blogging if you want to have a popular blog. In order to keep your site ahead of the competition, you have to embrace trends. Read on to find out how to use trends to make your site the most popular around.
If there is some sort of meme post currently buzzing, such as a video, tweet or photograph, post it on your site and then add your two cents. Many people will search for that item and being able to find it on your site will cause them to click through to you. The more salacious, the better! They may stick around on your site when they find so many great things to read, and this can really boost your readership.
If a celebrity does something good, or bad, post it on your site and then write about it. For example, when a celebrity feud goes down, you can put the post up and then write about who’s side you support or why you think they should quit behaving like babies. Once the fight is resolved, you can post again about the outcome.
If something happens in the news, such as a disaster or terrorism, you can write about it. Try to have a positive slant to your posts, such as listing where people can donate or send items to, or how well the victims are recovering. Dwelling in negativity is a real downer, and it can drive away your loyal readers. If you have a personal experience with a news-worthy event, be sure to share photos, video and a recounting of what went down on your blog. This is information that can’t be found anywhere else, so people will flock to your site to read about it.
If you have any political opinions, you can share them on your blog. Remember that people are extremely polarized when it comes to politics, so anything you post may drive off some of your readers. Only if you know that the bulk of your target audience will agree with you should you post about your political opinions. You never want to offend those who visit your site, so choose your words very carefully. Speak on facts and figures instead of engaging in name calling or low blows.
If you can dig up some good celebrity gossip, share it on your blog. If you can get the information first hand, you may end up with a huge spike in traffic as your site is the originator of the data. Even second hand information can be interesting if you supply a new slant on it, such as an opinion which isn’t already being bantered about.
Once you are a master in using trends on your blog, you will find that your readership goes up. That will allow your blog to get the recognition it deserves. Work hard to better your blog and great success will come your way.

View CommentLets Say My Target Audience Is A Company? Lets say I want to start a business providing a graphic design to any companies who needs them.
My target audience are companies and not specific age groups or types of companies either(musicals, movies, etc.). How would this give me an advantage? Despite whether I’m capable of covering all fields with my designs. Also, how could this be a disadvantage for me? I’m guessing that it would give me a disadvantage because I don’t really have specific fields to indicate them what kind of designs we specialize in. Is there a way to cover that?
View CommentSorry, but you are not going to go very far.
In order to provide any services of any kind to any business client, you need to know their business and ways of doing things. That means you have to be specific in the way and kind of advertising that you will produce for your customer.
You are not going to cover all fields with designs. You might get lucky and produce one product design that a particular company may like, but unless you can make a presentation to your client in the way that interests your client, you will not make another one.
It is like everything else related to business. You MUST provide fresh new ideas, or you will be dropped faster than a hot potato. In order to do that, you must know your client and your client’s market, and you must specifically hone in on and make a case for particulars that will attract new business for your client. Sometimes, it is actually better to work from within the client’s business, which equates to having experience!
View CommentWhat Target Audience Would Be Able To Relate To Guy Montag From Fahrenheit 451? I am giving a speech about Ray Bradbury’s book Fahrenheit 451 and I need to pick a target audience that would find the main character, Guy Montag, relatable. For instance, If I was reading Catcher in the Rye, I might pick a group of troubled teens as the audience, because they could relate to Holden’s antics. Thanks!

Any Magazines That Are Mainly Focused On Fashion And Less Of The Celebrity Gossip? (I’d prefer if it was aimed at British teenagers).
View CommentI know exactly how you feel…the celebrity gossip is really, really boring (Do I actually care if it’s Jordan/Kerry Katona/other worthless parasite’s pet poodle’s birthday? Um, no, funnily enough!) but I still buy magazines for the fashion pages. Steer completely clear of any magazine under £1 as it will definitely be 100% Z-List celebrity gossip and 0% fashion.
On the other side of the spectrum, we have the really haughty haute couture magazines like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, etc. that are filled with fashion but the fashions are almost too eccentric and cost more than my future university fees.
The best UK magazine for wearable fashion would be GLAMOUR as the fashion in it is not only gorgeous but relatively affordable ( compared to the others, I mean) but it doesn’t have as much gossip as OK, Heat, etc. and is only £2 so is totally affordable with our teenage budgets. Other good magazines would be Cosmo, Company and Look.

Why Do Some People Care So Much About Celebrity Gossip? Get a life, seriously. Give these people a break. Every gossip paper you buy contributes to paparazzies etc.
View CommentPeople like Celebrity gossip for the same reason’s they like soap operas. Seeing somebody live out publicly things that common people do everyday. It gives them an outlet to bash activities and choices humans make in a justifiable way. Celebrity gossip that’s “good” are usually something a celeb. has done that’s embarrassing or otherwise not in good taste. Kind of like laughing at someone falling down stairs. If everyone else is laughing with you it’s not wrong. Hope this helps 🙂

Based on the article itself and the website, speakingforamericans.com, who do you think is the target audience for this text?

View CommentWhy Do People Read Or Buy Celebrity Gossip Magazines Like STAR Magazine? Hello There!
This might be a terrible question to ask, but I really want to know why people are always in to celebrity gossip (i know not everyone is) and why people purchase celebrity gossip magazines. Does it really interest you about brad and angelina’s situation, or who’s getting plastic surgery, or who’s dating who?
you may tell me it’s none of my business and that’s what they like, but is there another reason why people are always so interested in the lives of celebrities? Thank you for your answer.
View CommentI have bought a couple of them just out of curiosity. I do not care at all about Brad and Angelina, etc. Some people seek something above themselves to give meaning to their lives. They worship celebrities and live vicariously through them. They should “get a life”. I have a full life, and I care nothing about celebrities.

View CommentWho Is The Target Audience For The National Trust? Well i know it’s sort of middle class people so far I have:
The article comes from The National Trust Magazine so the reader will be a subscriber to the organisation. We therefore assume that they share the same values and opinions concerning the protection of British countryside and ethical farming standards. The target audience then, is this âsocial eliteâ of people-typically upper middle class-who understand the issues that concern the National Trust such as the âimpact of uncontrolled development and industrialisationâ and are aware of
and then I get stuck
Help please!!!
Thanks in advance 🙂
View CommentThe National Trust has a variety of target audiences, depending on the properties or sites they’re promoting. For example, they run Wimpole Hall near Cambridge. This has a lot of activities and interest for children so the NT’s target audience for that property is parents of young children. They own a few nature reserves for which they’ll target walkers, nature lovers and possibly break it down tighter to specific age groups.
The NT offers gift subscriptions so their target audience for those may be people who are stuck for present ideas for friends or relatives.
It’s a little dangerous to classify their target audience as a social elite of upper middle class people. Not everyone who visits NT properties is bothered about the values of protecting the countryside. Their main concern is where they can go for a good day out.
