What do you want to write about? It is best to choose a topic you know a lot about. Your writers will not recognize you as an expert on your topic if you do not have anything new to say about your topic. Do plenty of research on the topics you are passionate about so you can create quality content for your audience. Your goal is to create content that is valuable, educational and entertaining. Read other blogs on the topic you are interested in to get an idea of the kind of content that is already available to the readers you want to target.
You do not have to limit yourself to writing articles. Some of your readers might prefer very short blog entries or even videos. Creating a video blog is a great way to make your content more interactive and reach out to a wider audience. You could also share pictures on your blog or record a Podcast. Try using different formats to get a better idea of what your audience likes and what works with your content.
You need to be dedicated to your blog. A lot of bloggers write articles for a while and eventually lose interest in their blog. You need to keep writing more content on a weekly basis. You should write at least one article a week and always look for new ways to promote your blog. If you have enough free time, try spending at least a couple of hours a day on your blog. You will become a successful blogger if you put some time and efforts into this project.
Share some links to your different articles. You can improve your exposure by getting some links featured on the sites your readers are likely to read. Contact other bloggers or webmasters to ask if they would like to have links or content featured on your blog if they return the favor. Send some articles to popular article directories and share links to your content on message boards if you are a member of different online communities.
Do not expect to create a successful blog overnight. Developing quality content takes time and patience. It is important to keep trying until you get the results you were hoping for. Give yourself a reasonable time frame to develop your blog and promote it. If you have a hard time with meeting your goals, do more research on efficient blogging strategies or get to know your audience better. You will eventually become a popular blogger if you keep producing quality content, interact with your audience and always find new ways to promote your blog.

View CommentWhat Happens To Cosmetics With Defects ? What happens to cosmetics that have various packaging defects ? Are they disposed ? Or do they sell them ? I have seen some products (Mac,Estee Lauder) that have small packaging defects for sale.Out of curiosity I bought a lip gloss(Estee Lauder shine pops) and the quality & contents are the same as the original. Only thing is that the gloss color is differant from what is says on the lable. It says “Mellow Yellow” when the colour is actually “sweet nectar”. Has anyone else seen stuff like this ?
View CommentI got mine from a shop in Colombo,Sri Lanka called “Osborn”. I also bought a lip gloss called “Dior Kiss” for 475 Rupees.It’s about 2500 Rupees if you are buying from a authorized shop.
A lot of name brand defects are still sold, just for a cheaper price than that of a non defective product.

View CommentThe original was very ahead of its times, and had a lot of interesting subtext. i haven’t seen the remake because i have this thing about remakes of good movies, especially when they get crappy reviews. i wish they would remake bad movies and make them good rather than remaking good movies poorly. Anyway, the original is eerie and cool, but again, you have to consider when it was made.

2. Create high quality content. Write unique articles related with your sites, then post them on hot blogs or Press release sites. Content marketing are good enough to build natural high quality inbound links. What’s more, unique content improves your brand visibility and trust in search engines.
3. Get backlinks from great sites with org, edu, gov domains or brand sites. This may be more difficult, but worth a try.

View CommentFile sharing itself isn’t unethical; it’s what’s being shared that makes it so.
You can download tons of free programs, open-source, GPL projects through file sharing (Linux users will know). The best ones use some flavor of torrent, which is easier to monitor and track (thus making it safer because sites that offer the torrents are known/listed/tracked).
If you or anyone else don’t own the copyrights to what’s being share, then it’s unethical, because it isn’t yours to give away.

Please Help With Economics Project On Buying Shares.? Supposedly I have $10,000 and I buy 1992 shares for $5.02 a share. The dividend of my company is $0.7 per share. I “bought” my shares on the 6th August 2010 and “sold” them on the 25th August 2010 at $5.10 a share. I need to figure out how much I will earn, and how much I will get as a dividend. I don’t really understand this kind of things, so could anyone please show me how to work this all out in detail and explain anything else I will need to know, if you can. I never had any experience with shares or anything else in that sort, so I might not understand some of the things you talk about if you use too complicated words. But it’s nice to know some new words, so please use them, but with explanations.
View CommentWell dividends can pay out at different times like once a year, twice a year, etc. so I guess if they didn’t tell you then you can assume its once. Now if you get paid on the amount of time you actually had a share, so 19 days of owning this stock. That is 19 out of 365 days of a year or 19/365. Then you take that and multiply it by .7 to get how much you will be paid per share. Basically you just got the percent of the year you had stock and if you get .7 for a whole year of owning one share then you get 19/365 for how long you had it. I think I got something like $72.58 for your total dividends. So thats how much you made off of dividends then you just take (1992 x 5.10) – (1992 x 5.02) to figure out how much you made off of the transaction from the stock. So I got like $159.36, so that and $72,58 would be your answers I guess. This isn’t really hard economic stuff I don’t think there are any hard words for it or anything. I am an accounting major and I’ve take a lot of economics classes( I was econ major until I decided accounting was easier jr year).

View CommentThere is no difference in content. When you compress a file, the content of the file stays the same. The quality difference is huge when you are compressing it that far. You will have a very low quality video.
Personally, I hate when people compress videos too far and you get a choppy/grainy looking piece of film where you can barely make out the people or characters in the film.
