Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization

Do you have a blog? If you do not get the results you wanted, it is time to make some changes to the strategies you have been using to develop your blog. Read the following article for some useful tips on blogging.

Blog

Start by doing a lot of research on the audience you want to target. You should share some surveys on your blog or even talk to other bloggers who target a similar audience. Once you know more about your audience, place links on pages they will be likely to visit and use their favorite platform to share links to your latest updates. If you find that your readers use social networks on a daily basis, give them the possibility to connect with your blog on their favorite social network.

ControversBloggingy

Read other blogs or sites on your topic. Readers will probably not come back to your blog if your articles are not as useful as the content they can find on other sites or blogs. Try bringing something new to the discussion, for instance, by conducting your own experiments or writing about your extensive experience. Make sure you always stay on topic and present your information in a way that is very easy to understand. Make things more fun by creating videos or info-graphics to share your content with your audience.

Engine

Learn more about search engine optimization. You can get more traffic on your blog by developing an efficient search engine optimization campaign. Some blogging platforms actually provide users with an SEO plug, in but you can develop your SEO campaign by yourself. Use strong keywords to optimize your content, for instance, by choosing eye catching titles filled with keywords for your articles. You should also share links to your new articles on other popular pages.

Good Sense Of Humor

Find a better way to organize your blog. More readers will browse through your content if your blog is easy to navigate. Most blogging platforms will automatically organize your articles in a chronological order, which does not help your audience find the articles they want to read. Create a well-organized archive so readers can browse through your articles by theme or category. You should also add a search bar so visitors can type in a keyword.

Niche

Find a way to interact with your audience. You probably get some comments on your articles, but you can interact with your readers in a more efficient way by encouraging them to send you emails if they have questions or comments. Use social media to share links to your latest updates and talk to your readers. Make your readers feel comfortable about contacting you and try responding to anyone in a friendly and helpful way.

Optimization

These five methods will help you become a better blogger and reach out to a much wider audience. You should apply them and monitor your results to make sure you are on the right track, for instance, by using your visitor tracker tool or sharing a survey on your blog.

Why Is Search Engine Optimization So Expensive? The company I work for paid $40,000 in search engine optimization for their site last year and really haven’t seen many sales come in from it all. Why do they charge so much for what seems to be so little?

Seo helps company to rank higher in the search engine like yahoo, google, bing etc. In order to rank high, we need to improve the website in many ways to become more search engine friendly. Writing more relative Articles, better coding, broken links solving, buy links and more.
There are really a lot to do which can even cost more than 40k a month. Results are normally long term like half a year to a year. However, if your company don’t see result by then, means that they are not doing very good job on it.

How Can I Promote My Business Using Search Engine Marketing? I want to promote my website and business online to generate more leads using search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO) but I am not sure how to maximize my adwords campaigns. How can I effectively find the keywords that will generate the most relevant traffic to my site?

Is it better to use SEM or SEO for small medium size business with a limited budget? I am trying to do my own adwords campaign but find it too time consuming.

There are way too many services to sort through, is there any reliable services that could manage my adwords campaigns at affordable prices?

    Thank you !

However, if you have a small budget and limited time; a knowledgeable SEM manager can optimize your existing campaigns at affordable prices. You can do Pay Per click advertising with any budget and there are many methods to run effective campaigns to produce the best return on investment (ROI). Be careful to make sure the campaigns you run are relevant to what potential leads are searching for, otherwise you can lose a lot of money.

Bottom line its best to consult a reliable SEM management companies and ask one of the SEM managers to look over your existing campaigns and give a free estimate of their rates.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine’s “natural,” or un-paid, search results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine’s users. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search, academic searchnews search and industry-specific vertical search engines.

As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work, what people search for, the actual search terms or keywords typed into search engines and which search engines are preferred by their targeted audience. Optimizing a website may involve editing its content and HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines. Promoting a site to increase the number of backlinks, or inbound links, is another SEO tactic.

Search Engine Optimisation or SEO as it’s referred to in the industry is a form of online marketing.

Search engine optimisation is built around understanding and utilising the google algorithm which works out the order that websites should be ranked in when you type an enquiry into the google search engine. The Google algorithm is called Page Rank.

Page Rank works by assessing how many external links a website has pointing to it. For example brightmediaweb.com will probably have asked for its partners and clients to put a link to the bright media website on their websites to help increase Brite Media’s online visibility (how important search engines think it is).

As such, search engine optimisation looks to build lots of high-quality links to a website via the internet. This can be done through viral marketing, paid blogs, forum posts, guest book signings etc.

Added to this Bright media will perform what is known as ‘keyword research’ for its clients. This involves tracking how often people search for specific terms on search engines. For example, if they are optimising a jewellery website, they might look up how often people search for ‘gold diamond choker’. From the research they will build up a bank of ‘keywords’ which they will put into the text of the website and use when doing link building (as mentioned above).

This is just a brief overview and there is a lot more to it which they will teach you. In the meantime, check out the site below who also specialise in SEO, there’s some info that may help on the website.

      Good luck!

What Is SEO Or Search Engine Optimization? How To Do SEO?

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques can either be organic or paid. Paid (PPC) can be useful in identifying the keywords you should target for your SEO campaign, however, many small companies cannot afford these types of PPC campaigns. Organic SEO involves optimizing on-site SEO by first identifying your target keywords and long-tail keywords. A long-tail keyword phrase is the best technique for small businesses because there is usually less competition for these keywords, and it is rare for someone to enter just one word into a search engine search bar. Examples of long-tail keywords are: “Organic butter from Lancaster PA”, or “Organic Pick your own berry farms in PA”, whereas regular keywords are “Organic butter”, “butter”, “Berries”.
You will want to target low to medium competition keywords with medium to high search volume. You can also try GEO-SEO which is using your geographic location to target customers, which might be useful for a small store trying to attract local customers.

Here is what you should target for SEO:

-Use your keywords that are relevant to each pages content in your title tags,

      tags, and meta-description tags.
-Make sure to use alt=”” attribute in your image html (search engine spiders can’t see your images, so help yourself by helping them and use the alt=”” attribute.
-The higher your content is on the page (above the fold), the more value it will impart.
-Link to other pages (deep pages) within your own website.
-Link to others in your industry (relevant)
-Make sure you have a call to action on any pages that you would want to place “contact us at”.
This is your big neon sign that screams “Get Yours Here!”

Off-site SEO involves building back-links to your website from other sites that have high authority, are popular, are a valuable resource in their industry (your industry).

I go into this in great detail on my website blog and I recently answered a question on back-links for Yahoo! if you would like to know more 8)

What Is Meant By Search Engine & Image Search Optimization? Explain in detail

    View Comment
    1. Reply

A search engine is a service provided by some company (Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, etc.) which will search through millions of web pages for keywords that a person types into a field. For instance, if I type “Puppy” into a search box on Google’s web site, there are currently 40,800,000 matches available. If the search provider has a good search algorithm in their software, then the most relevant pages should be listed first. In my case, I’m a happy searcher, because after the Google Image samples, the first result listed is the Puppy Linux website, which is the only Puppy I would ever be searching for online. Most search providers keep track of what websites people will actually visit after doing a search. They then use the results to make sure those pages are closer to the top of the list for the next time someone searches for the same keyword(s).

Image search optimization is about using images on your website to draw more “click-throughs” from the search provider, thereby raising your rank in the search list. This, in turn, helps to ensure that you keep getting more visits to your site. A neat article I just found by typing “image search optimization” into Google Search is linked below.

SEO – Search Engine Optimization is a science of optimizing a website such that it would rank higher in a search engine than its form before optimization.

You need to understand the basics of how Search Engine works before you can understand SEO.

To summarize, a search engine is basically a database of indexes of webpages. Like how a library indexes its books, when you search in the library database for ‘Harry Potter’, it would return all the books related to Harry Potter. Similarly, when you search for Harry Potter, it would produce a list of webpages related to Harry Potter.

The complexity comes in how webpages are indexed. Some of the main factors include the Title of the page, the URL of the page, the header text of the page, the text, and what other pages link to it. Other factors include how the page is structured, how images are labelled, and what shows up in the meta-tags.

If you can optimize all of these factors, you can better control how search engines indexes your webpage, thus how well it is ranked. Naturally, there are competitors who are doing exactly the same thing, so nothing can guarantee Top Rank if you competitors do a better job.

Please feel free to check out my blog to understand the ins-and-outs of online marketing – SEO is certainly one of the factors.

      Hope that helps,

What Is Search Engine Optimization And Whats It Benefits ? How to do search engine optimization for a blog ?

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines via the “natural” or un-paid (“organic” or “algorithmic”) search results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine’s users. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search, academic search, news search and industry-specific vertical search engines.

Optimizing a website may involve editing its content and HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines. Promoting a site to increase the number of backlinks, or inbound links, is another SEO tactic.

The acronym “SEOs” can refer to “search engine optimizers,” a term adopted by an industry of consultants who carry out optimization projects on behalf of clients, and by employees who perform SEO services in-house. Search engine optimizers may offer SEO as a stand-alone service or as a part of a broader marketing campaign. Because effective SEO may require changes to the HTML source code of a site and site content, SEO tactics may be incorporated into website development and design. The term “search engine friendly” may be used to describe website designs, menus, content management systems, images, videos, shopping carts, and other elements that have been optimized for the purpose of search engine exposure.

Blogging software is really a simple Content Management System (CMS) that easily adds new pages and integrates them into your site’s navigational structure and linkage.

Blogs and blog posts are naturally search engine friendly because they are text-rich, link-rich, frequently-updated webpages that use stylesheets or CSS, and have very little extraneous HTML.

Optimizing a blog is very similar to optimizing a website, and optimizing a blog post similar to optimizing a web page.

But depending on the blogging service or software you use, the results may look somewhat different.

If you follow some simple rules for search engine optimization, your blog can rank much higher than static website pages in the search engine results pages.

Here are the most important rules to follow to get your posts listed for keywords of your choice.

      1. Use your primary keyword in your blog domain
      2. Use your primary key phrase in your blog header tags and the title of your posts
      3. Use your secondary keywords in the body of your post
      4. Use your keywords in the anchor text of links
      5. Make sure search engines can spider your blog easily
      6. Get backlinks from other blogs or websites

Search Engine Optimization is basically a process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines via the “organic” or “algorithmic” search results. The higher a website ranks in the results of a search, the greater the possibility that the site will be visited by a user.

It’s rationally interesting to know that there are 917,846,342 different websites that are related to the search query, but really, if website doesn’t appear in the first 10 pages, it’s invisible to the world. To remove this satire SEO is used so that the website can appear on the page rank number 1 or close to number 1 in results retrieved for a specific search or searches.
