Natural Baby Products

Natural Baby Products

You’ve been posting away on your blog, tapping on all of the topics your readers find interesting, and then you hit an impasse. You can’t think of something new to write about, but you don’t want to start posting on the same old topics. What is a blogger to do? Thankfully, there are many options available to you which can break down that writer’s block and open you up to new ideas.

Baby Furniture

If you have a very focused niche, broaden your horizons. Step a little outside of the box you normally stay within. For example, if you write about natural baby products, consider also talking about environmentally friendly baby furniture, paint, or flooring. If your blog is focused on healthy recipes, write a post about a natural and healthy food product available in stores. You could also write about safe utensils and plates, the proper way to wash your pots and pans, or natural alternatives for dish soap. Once you step outside of the box just a bit, your world will truly open up. You’ll suddenly see millions of new ideas to write on, and your audience will be pleased to read about all of them.

Dish Soap

If that doesn’t help, ask your readers what else they want to know. You can ask them on social media or post a survey on your website. Consider holding it as a giveaway and offering a prize to one random entrant as this will nudge people into sharing what they really want to read. Once you have a list of ideas, whittle it down to what you are also interested in writing about. Then you’ll have many post ideas which should last you many months into the future.

Food Product

Keep a pen and paper handy so you can jot down ideas right when you have them. There is nothing worse than having an idea in the kitchen, only to forget it by the time you get to the office. Ideas can come in your dreams, in the bathroom or even when you are out to dinner. If you have the ability to write them down at all times, you’ll never lose out on a great blogging idea because you couldn’t make a note of it.

Healthy Food

Consider doing an interview within your niche. It could be of a professional in the field, a company owner, an expert or another blogger. It doesn’t matter who you interview as long as they have something interesting to share and they aren’t too far outside of your niche. Being able to Bloggingprovide expert information to your readers allows them, and you, to learn something new they might not have found elsewhere. It also gives yourself the opportunity to cross promote your blog to those who follow that expert.

Healthy Recipes

Now you have many cures for the writer’s block which ails you. No matter which works for you, there will be one which leads you to your next post. Try each until you find the winner and then move forward with your new blogging ideas.

What Is A Good Career To Go For As A Single Mum? I 19 and a single mum to a 6 month old. I’m constantly stuck in dead end jobs so i’m going to go back to college to do my A-levels then hopefully university.
I’m really struggling to decide what to go for so open to all ideas. I originally wanted to go into nursing but wouldn’t be able to because of shift work. I’m going to put my daughter in a nursery during the day whilst I study but it will obviously be a struggle because I won’t have much money with no job until I qualify.

    • Heres what you need; do your best to find a job that covers as many of these topics as possible. Yes, its nice to love the work you do, but first and foremost, you have to be able to support your family, and that comes way ahead of intrinsic reward (feeling good about the work you do, enjoying it, etc.).

      1. Salary that provides financial stability and independance
      2. In an industry that could collapse one day (think medical, not auto)
      3. Provides a schedule you can make work
      4. you want to work with a supervisor/company who will “give you a break” once in a while, understanding that youre a single mom
5.Match the job to your natural abilities/interests. If you hate numbers, dont accept an accounts payable position. The things youre good at will always be easier for you. If you go against the grain, youll work twice as hard, get burnt out quickly, wont produce the best possible work product, and in the worst case scenerio, you could lose your job due to performance issues. Plus, get your foot in the door, in the right FIELD at least, work your way up, and by 30 you have a degree and a job you love.

Now the next part is simply my opinion, so take it for what its worth. 1. Nursing is out. The college cirriculum is VERY difficult, time consuming, etc. And as you said, not only could you end up on an off shift, you most certainly WILL. The people who have been around a while get 1st shift and holidays off. The new guy, you, gets 3rd shift and works the holidays. Wanna spend Christmas away from your child for a few years? Nope, Im sure. Lastly, most nursing programs require clinicals (on the job training/learning, job shadowing other RNs, etc.) at a hospital of THEIR choosing. This means it could be an off shift, an hour away, with a midnight start time. Youre not likely to be able to make that work, not on your own. Then you went thru all the trouble, time, and money….to get a degree you cant really use. Skip it for now. Sorry.

Dont fret tho, the reason youre attracted to nursing is bc of the person you are. Nurses care about PEOPLE, want to help, etc. A nurse and an accountant have very different skill sets, personality wise. So all you need to do is look at the other fields where you can use your personality to your benefit. I highly recommend Human Resources – you help people, you work in an office (air conditioned, not physically demanding, 9-5 kinda hours,etc.).

See if you can get ur hands on a copy of a book called “What Color is your Parachute” – this will help you A LOT!! Check it out.

Congrats on the baby Mom, what an amazing blessing. At 19, you sound more responsible than many 30 year old moms. You know its not going to be easy, but ur willing to work your a$$ off so your baby can have the best life possible. Good for you. Hang in there, itll be tough, but youve got this!!!

Is The Outside Fan Box Supposed To Turn On With Heat? Maybe I’ve just never noticed, but when I turn the heat on, on my electric central air system the outside fan box turns on. I associate the fan box with AC not heat. Is this ok, or do I need to call the owner?

    • No it should not turn on with heat
but this might be a simple problem one that you may
      be able to fix

open up your thermostat the wires that are there are colored
and each screw has a letter next to it make sure no wires are
not making contact with each other or other screws and each
color is on the right screw .
that should be the problem considering heat and a/c is controlled separately from the thermostat.
all those wires behind the thermostat are only switches
and the red being the feed point

Wanting To Start A Natural Baby/mom Online Store. What Do The Moms Out There Want? I’m wanting to start an online store for natural cloth diapering, breastfeeding, baby wearing moms. I was hoping to get suggestions as to what the moms out there would like to see in this type of site. Things the moms out there are wanting, or things they haven’t seen or have a hard time finding in other sites. Suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    • You can get almost anything online. instead of trying to come up with items, go to your local Babys R Us store and make note of each item that you could order easily offline (ie something you dont need to see right infront of you in order to buy, like stuff you should try on, etc)

and since the forementioned “you can get almost anything online” separate yourself from the rest of the sites. have demo clips demonstration videos for each product. you wouldnt believe how many times ive brought something home from the store and have tried to figure it out or build it by myself. my husband works 24-7 and so i had to do a lot of the stuff alone and it was not easy. if you have demos on there, people would flock to your site. if you have them open to the public it would bring people to your site so its like free advertising. if you are worried people will buy it elsewhere and just use your site for reference, then have the videos available per purchase. like when you log in it tracks what youve bought and gives you videos on each item. im half tempted to erase all of this and start my own site… just kidding. have fun and GOOD LUCK!!!

How Do I Get My Hair To Grow…?!? I really want my hair to be long Im now in the summer holidays i have 9 weeks of it how do i get my hair to grow long in that length of time?! Also i love the look surfy girls have when their hair is down anyone know how to do that?!

    • Scalp massages! im a licensed cosmetologist and giving yourself a 10-15 minute scalp massage is envigorating, refreshing and effective!
for my clients who come into the salon with hair loss, or who want longer healthier hair. i always suggest a scalp massage.

Part your hair into 4 quadrants. 2 front, 2 back, and apply a nice moisterizing conditoner in sections. after youve done that ,proceed to massage your scalp with your finger tips. around the hair line as well. doing that will ensure you get the baby hairs too.

A scalp massage is a technique used to create blood flow and stimulation to your hair follicles and what that does is promote new hair growth, and provides more nutrients to the existing hair follicles and helps your hair grow healthier and stronger.

i would also advise letting your hair air dry after showers. dont shower so often, you are cleaning off the natural oils that your scalp produces to protect your hair. use a leave in conditioner with uv protection.
did you know hair can get damaged form sun wind, certain hair products , certain accessories, and even your pillow case? always make sure with your hair products theres little to no alcohol. use cloth covered hair elastics. when you go to sleep, tie your hair up in a bun and tuck in the ends to protect them.

use hair masks. theyre amazing. shampoo twice when you shower.. just the scalp then drag the shampoo down quick before you rinse, and conditon only the ends. from the ends of your hair to midstrand. try not to touch the scalp.

Could I Be Pregnant?? Please I Really Need An Opinion From Someone!!? Ok, it all satarted last week, a friend cama upmto me and asked me if im expecting a baby, I said no, and didint think much of it since im on the pill, i just thiught i needed to loose some weight. But on saturday someone else asked me the same question, she said she could tell because of my face, i laughed and asked her if it was beacuse my cheecks are chubby and she said “no, you have a glow on your face, i noticed last thursday” which was the day the first person asked me. I got kind of worried, i also remembred that like twonweeks ago i was taking my pills a day behind because i missed a day, that went on for like two to three days untill i caught on, im also horrible with pills and rearly take them at the same time every day. As i thought about it i remembered some other things, about two or three weeks ago after having intercourse with my husband i went to the restroom to clean my self up and the toilet paper was stained kind of like pinkish redish, i thought of my period but i wasnt supposed to get until like two more weeks, i also noticed alot more discharge, white and mucus like, this was after my ovulation days, my husband also told me about that, he said he noticed that i was alot more wet than usual during sex. Other than that, i havnt missed my period yer, i should get it next monday, if im not pregnant… Ived had hedaches almost every day, sleepier tha usual going tonthe restroom a lil more often, always hot, and lil not really painful crapms. What do u think? My husband doesnt think im pregnant, we have been through this before, but i never had simptoms or anything, just though i was pregnant because of a delayed period…. Please i really need your opinion, specially if youve been through something similar, i will apreciate it!! :)
I already took a test and it came back negative, but since it was a week before my expected period I dont think the result was very accurate, i will test again when or if i miss my period, but untill then what should i expect??

You Are Thinking Outside The Box?

    • A little too much outside the box, if you get my meaning

Need Ideas For An OUTSIDE TOY BOX? Does anyone have any ideas for use as an outside toy box (to fit big and not so big toys?) Little Tykes has one, but they don’t really say if it is for outside. Does anyone have any other ideas (i.e. mesh laundry basket, compost basket, etc.?) We don’t really have a sheltered area, so all the toys get wet and ideas must have some kind of drainage system. Also, please let me know where to find them if you know. Thanks!

    • This might sound really rednecked but it REALLY works…

      1. First you have to find an old tractor tire (Tire shops or junk yards may have one) or even a large regular tire will work.

      2. Screw a piece of plywood (cut round) to one side

      3. Drill small holes in the plywood and the tire for drainage (I drilled quite a few, not big enough for the sand to go through but enough for the water)

      4. To keep your child clean, or to make it match your own color scheme, spray paint the whole thing whatever color (if the tire is dirty wash and dry it first before paining). Let dry.

      5. Invert and fill with clean white sand.

A few tips…If you don’t fill it all the way with sand there is a possibility that spiders can get in the underside edge of the tire. Always check the sandbox with a flashlight, before your child uses it, if you insist on not filling it completely…

      =======================================================

Another thing you could try is a storage box with a lid from Walmart or Target. One of the flatter ones with a snapon lid about 3 feet long should do nicely. You fill it with sand and when your child gets done playing you just put the lid back on. You could even get two totes…One for the sand and one for the toys. When he’s done playing you can just stack one on the other out of the way.

Rubbermaid makes many storage boxes that might fit your needs and Walmart sells their products. Maybe something they have will work for you…

      Here’s one I like…
