Target Audience

Target Audience

Blogging is a popular way for people to share information with others. It covers practically any topic that you can imagine. Most of the time, people blog about their topics of interest. They want to attract an audience who also share the same interest so there can be an exchange of opinions. This is a good way to start intelligent conversations on similar interests. If you are interested in starting your own blog, this article will give you some tips on how you can become a successful blogger.

Your readership is important to your blog. When you write something, you want people to read it. Writing your article is just the beginning of the process. You have to think about how to get the word out that your blog is live. One thing you can do is to start with your friends and family. Send them a link to your blog, and encourage them to spread the word to their social circle about it.

Banner Ads

You can create a presence in social media accountsBlogging and link to your blog. Social media is a powerful way to spread the word about anything. It just takes a few people to start sharing about a hot topic to get that fire lit. If the topic has enough popular interest, it will catch on as it spreads throughout the social media network.

Think about how you can promote yourself. Visit online communities that your readers may frequent, and participate in discussions there. When you post, identify yourself and what you represent. You should not make your post sound like an advertisement. Rather, introduce yourself as someone who is here to share knowledge as well as learn. Be sure to include your blog’s URL so that people can get to your blog.

Business Purposes

Write to a target audience. Look at your blog from your readers’ point of view. If you were a reader, what information would you want to find in a blog? What is helpful or useful to you? People are choosy when it comes to what they spend their time reading because there is so much information on the web and not everything is well-written or helpful. Write in a way that will capture your audience’s attention.

Golden Opportunity

Keep your content fresh and updated at all times. People like to read new stuff. When they know that something new is coming down the pipes, they will come back for more. Try to update your content on a regular schedule so you will not keep your readers guessing. If your reader checks in a couple of times and does not see any new content, he may not come back. Even if you have no new articles to post, you should post a short note to inform your readers when they can expect to see new content.

High Interest

If you want to be a successful blogger, try using some of the tips above. The longer you are at it, the more popular your reputation will become among your readers.

What Impact Has Social Media, Especially Facebook, Had On The Entertainment Business? And what impact will it leave in the future? positive or negative?

Yes, social media provides new marketing methods and all, but then again, most of the entertainment business’ revenue comes from advertisers. so, social media might be an ally and an enemy at the same time.

and i dont believe selling DVD’s or songs help, as final customers tend to find ways of getting them for free. and making laws and regulations against it will hurt the relationship between the suppliers and these final customers.

    • Social Media sites such as youtube may have a downside on entertainment business specially movie makers. There are a lot of locally and internationally produced movies are being recorded and uploaded in youtube thus instead of watching movies in theaters/cinemas, movie goers are now resorting to these video sites to watch it for free.

How Can I Use Social Media To Present A School Project? I’m doing a school project on what business will be like in 2035 and I was thinking that since social media is a huge part of our lives already, it will probably be one of the main things we use in 2035. I was thinking that I’d use social media and technology to present the project, since there is no oral mark. Either that, or make a sort movie/video report. Any ideas or opinions on what I should do?

    • Actually, social media nowadays have a very huge impact to the business today especially in the small business owners. For example, you are into whitening product ,there are lots of huge companies that are selling it, but what you can do is create a fan page in youtube about your product, create a twitter account to, or create a video about it and upload to youtube. What you can do to boost the credibility and to be more reliable is that you can gain youtube views, facebook fans, and twitter followers to speed up the marketing online.

Looking For The Target Audience Of This Text Type – Help Please?

Based on the article itself and the website,, who do you think is the target audience for this text?

    • The target audience would most likely be older people, or just people who like to be current on global information. Government workers, or maybe anti nuclearpowerists? Remember that target audiences don’t necessarily have to be age groups, so there could be a varaity of audiences.

    • Audience to whom the advertising is directed. The target audience is defined in terms of demographic (and sometimes psychographic) characteristics, such as age, sex, education, income, buying habits, and the like.

the target audience for the 'The Simpsons' are initially the fan base of the kids, and then the parents would follow pretty much the same way.
Basically, it is the nuclear family.

Here is a comment on the matter:

This is the last good season of the Simpsons. I am a Simpsons purist. You may say well you are too old and not the target audience anymore but, I am 15 so I was not yet born when this show began. I have seasons one through ten on dvd and watch them regularly. You obviously did not understand or pick up on the true genius of the early seasons. They were hysterical and I have still not gotten bored of them. But on to another point, the Simpsons truly have changed and went far downhill. They went from such ideas as Mr. Plow, The Stone Cutters, the infamous Two cars in every garage and three eyes of every fish, and who could forget Homer’s Enemy Frank Grimes or as his friends like to refer to him Grimy. Now that you are thinking about how great they were look what they have now I saw now they are having Marge be an online gamer, wow that sounds like a really good idea, or how about Ralph Wiggum running for president, that was sure a great one. I can not stand the new seasons of the Simpsons and they really need to stop before they just embarrass themselves further. Do not even get me started on the movie which was the last act of a desperate man trying to squeeze as much money out of a fading piece of history. I was so excited to see it when i saw they were making a movie but then began to think how bad the show has gotten and the movie just tried to use the things that were not allowed on tv. It was the most pathetic thing I have ever seen and I wish I had never viewed it but sadly I saw it in the theaters and left after about half way through I could not take it.
This is all proving that I am part of the target audience and have stopped watching years ago.

Who Is The Target Audience For A Whodunit Film? Have tried to find some information on this but nothing
would be grateful for any use full sites :)

    View Comment
    • You probably haven’t found any information because your question is a bit vague. ‘Whodunit’ films can be made for a large scope of the demographic based more on the movie’s content. It’s like asking who the target audience is for thrillers ya know?

For example if you search the keyword ‘whodunit’ on, you’ll see that Scream 2 and Mystic River both appear in the list. The target audience for those two films is quite different. I mean even the Nancy Drew movie can be considered a whodunit film.

So besides the ‘whodunit’ aspect, you need to be a bit more specific. Good clues as to target audience are ratings, main cast (are they teens, adults, elderly), plot, even soundtrack.

What you can do is check out some of those films on IMDB. Find the spot where it shows you how many stars from users the movie received. There number of people who voted should be a link. Click that link and you will see a breakdown of who voted and their rating like this:

You can see that the most amount of voters comes from the 18-29 demographic. Second is 30-44. The 18-29 also gave it a higher rating (5.9 vs 5.7) so that gives you a general idea who the film was for. In this case I’m guessing mostly teens and young adults and more aimed at females.

    • I’d say your target audience would be ages 13 – 17 More or less. A male adolescent audience should be drawn in.
I’m a sixteen year old girl. As a writer, I’d recommend you broaden your horizons of reading to find a more unique writing style.
Also, I feel a lot is given away just through that short piece. Sometimes the audience likes to dissect the character without having a lot of knowledge about them until it is revealed later to why they act the way they do. i.e Dead parents.

Overall, sounds like an interesting storyline. I wouldn’t mind reading some more if you have any.

Who Is The Target Audience For The National Trust? Well i know it’s sort of middle class people so far I have:
The article comes from The National Trust Magazine so the reader will be a subscriber to the organisation. We therefore assume that they share the same values and opinions concerning the protection of British countryside and ethical farming standards. The target audience then, is this ???social elite??? of people-typically upper middle class-who understand the issues that concern the National Trust such as the ???impact of uncontrolled development and industrialisation??? and are aware of

    and then I get stuck
    Help please!!!

    Thanks in advance :)

    • The National Trust has a variety of target audiences, depending on the properties or sites they’re promoting. For example, they run Wimpole Hall near Cambridge. This has a lot of activities and interest for children so the NT’s target audience for that property is parents of young children. They own a few nature reserves for which they’ll target walkers, nature lovers and possibly break it down tighter to specific age groups.

The NT offers gift subscriptions so their target audience for those may be people who are stuck for present ideas for friends or relatives.

It’s a little dangerous to classify their target audience as a social elite of upper middle class people. Not everyone who visits NT properties is bothered about the values of protecting the countryside. Their main concern is where they can go for a good day out.

    • Social media or social networking has almost become part of our daily lives and being tossed around over the past few years. It is like any other media such as newspaper, radio and television but it is far more than just about sharing information and ideas. Social networking tools like Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and Blogs have facilitated creation and exchange of ideas so quickly and widely than the conventional media.
